NYDA Deputy Chairperson and ASPIRE CEO Visit Youth-Owned Citrus Farm in Raymond Mhlaba Municipality
The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Deputy Chairperson, Mr Bonga Makhanya, together with the Chief Executive Officer of ASPIRE, Mr Avuyile Xabadiya, and representatives from the Department of Agriculture, recently visited a women and youth-owned citrus agricultural farm in Fort Beaufort, Raymond Mhlaba Municipality.
The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for potential support to youth-owned businesses in the agricultural sector. The engagement highlighted the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs in driving local economic development and contributing to food security in the country.
